Call of Duty Modern Warfare Update: PS4 and Xbox Patch Notes

Activision and Infinity War are going to drop the new update for Call of Duty Modern Warfare later in the week. Players will get the new content via Call of Duty Modern Warfare update and yesterday the developers have released the patch notes for Xbox, PS4, and PC.

The major changes that you will notice via the latest update of Call of Duty Modern Warfare are as follows:

  • Added cranked to multiplayer to replace Drop Zone mode.
  • Cabin Fever 24/7 added to allow players to battle on the tiny maps such as Hackney Yard, Hideout, Rust, Shipment, and Shoot House.
  • Stir Crazy playlist has been removed.
  • Realism Ground War and Aniyah Palace also removed from the Ground War map.

Aside from these changes players will get new game content later this week as the second update of the game. The upcoming update will not bring great changes and as per the latest leak of Activision, Infinity War is going to launch a new operator named Ronin. Also, a new mode is coming which can enhance the curiosity of COD players.

You can purchase the new character from the COD store by purchasing the Ronin bundle with the operator launching alongside the Cabin Fever moshpit and Gunfight Trios.

The cranked mode has also been released that is a deathmatch style mode via which players have to get kills rapidly otherwise their character as the timer will run out.

Modern Warfare Playlist modifications:

  • Adding Drop Zone in both core and Hardcore (Removes Deathmatch Domination)
  • Adding ‘Stir Crazy’ Playlist – 10v10 playlist with Cranked, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint
  • Adding Hardcore ‘Stir Crazy’ Playlist – 10v10 playlist with Kill Confirmed, Cranked, Domination, and Team Deathmatch
  • Removing NVG Realism Mosh Pit

Warzone Playlist changes:

  • Adding “Scopes and Scatter Guns” BR Trios playlist – Snipers and Shotguns only (Replaced by regular BR Trios on April 16)

We can expect the next Call of Duty Modern Warfare update on Tuesday as per the previous updates. Activision likes to launch the updates weekly on Tuesday so it is expected that the next one will also come on the same day.
