Apart from this, these watches are basically Forerunner 45 with a pulse Ox sensor and compass. The performance analysis is much detailed including aerobic and anaerobic training effects. These watches are mainly for advanced runners.

The 245 watch has an impressive battery life of one-week which is the same as that of 45. With the GPS it will last for a full 24 hours and last only for 6 hours with music playback on as well.

The Boss of all these watches is the Forerunner 945. It does everything all the basic watches do and has NFC on top of it.
