Amazon Music listeners have now been served in a new way to enjoy their favorite music while they are on the run. Garmin announced this Wednesday that they will collaborate with Amazon to bring its music services to Garmin’s smartwatches as a feature that happens to be first for both Amazon’s music services and the Garmin Watches.
Amazon Music subscribers who own a compatible Garmin smartwatch will be able to download their preferred music to listen without using their phones in any way to promote the connection. The feature has incorporated Prime Music, which is being bundled up with Amazon’s Prime offering and hence has the provision for over two million available songs, as well as Amazon’s premium Music Unlimited service that is a more accurate traditional Spotify or Apple Music alternative with access to over 50 million songs.
According to CNet, The Amazon Music app is available now in Garmin’s Connect IQ store. Users have the mandate need to own a Forerunner 245 Music, Forerunner 645 Music, Forerunner 945, fēnix 5 Plus series, vívoactive 3 Music or MARQ series device to be able to download the free app. A full list of compatible devices is listed below:
