Just a few days ago we were hit with appealing news of Samsung bringing up the new 108-megapixel mobile camera sensor in collaboration with Xiaomi.
What made us wonder the unusual was the trend of Samsung establishing new trade points of advancement in the technology sector but is not implementing those advances in its own handsets.
If a company is intending to release technological wonders and embark on the “firsts” in the industry then it might as well incorporate that in its own devices.
News pops up through a tweet by Evan Blass that announced that Samsung will be releasing its graphene battery soon as it is close to developing it The technology will be released in one of the 2021 handsets by the end of that year.
The graphene Battery technology will take a leap in the mundane sector of battery function enhancement which has been non-functional since the lithium-ion technology. A change in the battery type will significantly enhance battery performance to thrill the users.
“Samsung is hoping to have at least one handset either next year or in 2021, I’m told, which will feature a graphene battery instead. Capable of a full charge in under a half-hour, they still need to raise capacities while lowering costs,”tweets @evleaks.
The battery will be cheaper, lightweight and will include greater capabilities. According to Android Authority,
“Using graphene in technology is not a new idea. Companies and organizations have been working for many years now to bring graphene products to the consumer electronics industry.
Panasonic has already developed a small flexible graphene battery, Korean research revealed its potential transparent graphene memory modules, and Samsung has also been developing graphene technology to create flexible displays. Yet, no one has been quite this close to having a finished graphene battery product that is ready to bring to market.”
The use of Graphene batteries is beyond the time of imagination. If Samsung succeeds in presenting this tech revival then it has been predicted to be changing the face of the mobile landscape in the coming phase.
The technology can even boost the present market domination of Samsung and will help it stand out from the crowd in the industry
